Tomato Soup Cake

Ingredients:
Cake:
- 1 Tbs. shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- ½ tsp. cloves
- ½ cup walnuts
- ½ cup raisins
Icing:
- Confectioners’ sugar
- Small cake of cream cheese
- Orange juice
- Vanilla
- 1 Tbs. butter
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350
- Lightly grease 2 round cake pans
- Cream shortening and sugar
- Add egg and beat
- Dissolve baking soda in tomato soup can
- Add tomato soup to shortening, sugar and egg mixture
- Mix walnuts and raisins with a little flower and add to the above
- Add flour and spices and mix well
- Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes
- Cool completely and add icing
